The design of this sterling double ribbon cross was inspired by a stone carving found in the Reilig Odhrain, the Isle of Iona's burial ground that is home to kings, poets and heads of state. For many years, this stone carving was kept on the nearby nunnery grounds -- hence its name. Many people believe this was a feminine cross because of its open, flowing design. This cross is 2.5 by 1.25 inches and comes on a heavy sterling chain.
