Kansas trade/merchant token from John J. Luthi in Milford, Kansas, Jan, 6, 1908.  Suspended from 32" of patina brass and sterling silver chain, with a small Czech glass bead.  Sterling silver beads and one handmade reticulated silver bead.  1870-1920's saw the highest use of trade/merchant tokens, mostly for promotion and extending credit in rural towns.
