Vintage Kansas trade/merchant token stamped with A.F. Fawley Gen. MDSE. & Implts, in Milford, Kansas, 1 1/8"  in diameter.  A mix of patina brass chain and sterling silver chain suspends the token in the 34" necklace, connected with Baltic amber, amethyst,  larvikite, and turquoise.  1870-1920's saw the highest use of trade/merchant tokens, mostly for promotion and extending credit in rural towns.
