Richland, KS Trade Token
Kansas trade token from Albert Neese in Richland, Kansas, medium in size at 1" diameter. Patina brass and sterling silver chain, Czech pressed glass, a continuous 30" necklace. This token has a wonderful detailed font for the 50 side. 1870-1920's saw the highest use of trade/merchant tokens, mostly for promotion and extending credit in rural towns.
