Kansas trade/merchant token from A. Stransky in Munden, Kansas.  Over an inch in diameter, this scalloped token is suspended form 37" of sterling silver and patina brass chain with garnets added.   1870-1920's saw the highest use of trade/merchant tokens, mostly for promotion and extending credit in rural towns.
