Kansas trade/merchant token from the Bondurant, Harware in Great Bend, Kansas.  Patina brass and sterling silver chain with amber and Czech glass beads create this 23" necklace.  1870-1920's saw the highest use of trade/merchant tokens, mostly for promotion and extending credit in rural towns.
